Wheels Up — Take Your Education Anywhere
Your opportunity is seemingly endless at É«ÖÐÉ«. Imagine all that you can do when your education experience goes global. Study literature in Galway, earn practical nursing experience on the Grecian island of Crete, visit the court system in London, or dive deep into your theology major on a trip through Italy. Programs run anywhere from a few weeks to an academic year and offer Lewis courses that can earn general education, elective, minor, and/or major credits depending on the program.
Financial Aid Applies
ACCESSIBILITY
Getting started on your study abroad journey is easy. You can start studying abroad as early as the second semester of your first year! Meet with the staff in the Study Abroad office to discuss your options and be guided through the application process.
AFFORDABILITY
A student that enrolls in a É«ÖÐÉ«-sponsored Study Abroad program will be considered for all of the financial aid they would receive as if they were enrolled at Lewis, including grants, loans, and scholarships. Lewis-sponsored semester programs are roughly similar in cost as Lewis tuition and include housing and in many cases a meal plan and excursions.
APPLICABILITY
Studying abroad fits into your academic plan because credits earned abroad count toward your Lewis degree. You earn credit toward your general education, major, minor, and/or elective requirements.
Experience LUCE - The Lasallian Universities Center for Education
Take to Rome, Italy, to discover the Lasallian Universities Center for Education (LUCE) in the Generalate, the motherhouse of the De La Salle Christian Brothers. This one-of-a-kind opportunity connects students from Lasallian colleges and universities around the world to study with each other while experiencing Rome.
“This program changed my view of the world by showing me how diverse, unique, and engaging the Italian people are regarding their culture. Despite our differences, I can ultimately connect with people on the level that we are simply humans. Sitting here at Casa La Salle, I can only say this has been one of the best decisions I’ve made.” David Abrutis, Computer Science major
